ABOUT TAMI

I grew up in the Midwest in a small town on the outskirts of Chicago and spent many of my summers at my grandparents’ home in small-town Mississippi. My fascination with photography started as a child. I would lock myself in a bedroom at my grandparents’ house, pull out an old cookie tin full of photos and go through them all – over and over again. I really loved the photos of my mom, aunts, and uncles, but it was the photographs from the weddings that really moved me. I was mesmerized by these photos and would stare at them for what seemed like hours. It wasn’t until I began photographing weddings over five years ago, that I understood why these snapshots captivated me. The photographs I take capture you and your loved ones on one of the happiest and most beautiful days of your life. Yours is a once-in-a-lifetime story filled with your favorite family and friends, and my photographs document the moments that will be passed down and looked at for generations. From the tiniest detail to the big picture and all of the little bits (or lotta bits) of love in between, I will be there to document it all.
