London Bridges

London Day 1: May 21, 2015 – crowds of folks spill out into the streets of Liverpool station, a red double decker bus beckons us to board.  Climbing to the top, we look down onto this curious city that has been buzzing well before our country was even born, our roots, our heritage, a familiarity, yet completely new to the senses.  We dash down into Borough Market, a bustling eatery and farmer’s market on the butt end of the London Bridge.  It has been bustling since 1014, a tastebud haven, sensuous, seductive for foodies…my favorite place so far….except there is also the Tower Bridge which is like a jeweled icon along the South Bank, the mark of Sir Albert Joseph Altman consisting of two bridge towers tied together at the upper level by two horizontal walkways….from above you can watch the ebb and flow of Thames through a glass bottomed floor, red bus, blue mini, taxi, a tourist crawl…
